James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)
Briefly caught a glimpse of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope between high clouds!
It is seen here just over 900,000km away, speeding away towards its destination at the L2 point opposite the Sun.
The animation consists of 5 frames, each exposed for 5 minutes, taken between midnight and 1AM on 5th Jan. The uneven illumination is due to the passing clouds.
